After a very pleasant and successful Bock beer tasting in the village hall De Lier, organized by Horeca de Lier and the webshop www.speciaalbierproeverij.com, below is the result of our selected Bo(c)k beers.
The panel with side-kick Willie Gommers, Peter van Swambacht, Henk Cornelissen and myself looked at the beers from various angles. Our tastings are characterized by a variation of expertise, information but also atmosphere and informality.
The beautiful tapas platters and the beautifully presented plate of red cabbage, mashed potatoes and hachee from Catering de Heerlijkheid perfectly enhanced the flavours of the bo(c)k beers.
With 30 guests live and many viewers online, we are now looking forward to our first whisky tasting on November 7th.
Of course, a lot will depend on possible new Corona measures. So keep an eye on our site!
